Hi there!

Sir Peter Blake was one of our greatest New Zealanders. He set an example for all New Zealanders of following your passion and loving the environment. 

He went to great ends to advocate for and protect the environment, showing young New Zealanders that they can make a difference in the world. It's now our turn to do his memory justice. 

Last year I was given the amazing opportunity of participating in YELF, the Youth Enviro Leaders Forum in Nelson, run by the Sir Peter Blake Trust. It truly was one of the best times of my life, and I will never forget it. It imbued me with Sir Peter Blake's passion for leadership and for the environment, and I would now like to give back to the Trust. 

I am raising money for the Sir Peter Blake Trust in order to inspire New Zealanders to lead the way in looking after our natural environment; to identify new and innovative solutions to the challenges we face and go forward with hope and determination to make a positive change. I am doing this in conjunction with Howick College, who also participate in Leadership Week, when we proudly brandish our Red Socks in honour of Sir Peter Blake. 

I will be doing 3 things as a part of my campaign. I will be shaving my head at school on the Friday of Leadership week, when we'll find out whats under this mop of hair. I will be tackling my sweet tooth and going sugar free for leadership week. Finally I will be doing a 5km ocean kayak trip in memory of Sir Peter Blake's love of the ocean.
